Bent Creek Preserve Project

Project Goal: Creating Usable Lawn Space for the Homeowner
Unique Feature: Relocation and Reuse of Existing Boulders and Plants
Completed: October 2018
Project Details:
The homeowners had two primary goals for their home in Bent Creek Preserve near Asheville. One goal was to showcase the home's architecture from the street view. The second goal was to create usable front yard space featuring an easy to maintain lawn.

Our crew began work by removing the existing and overgrown plant material which was hiding the home from the street view.

The site was then properly graded and the soil was amended. Onsite boulders were placed alongside new planting beds where existing plants were relocated and planted at proper spacing.

To complete this project, we mulched all planting areas and installed turf-type tall Fescue sod.
