Walls and Patios

We specialize in hardscaping, particularly various types of retaining walls and flagstone patios. We frequently include small garden walls and larger gravity retaining walls to retain slopes, reduce erosion, and we incorporate flagstone patios to increase outdoor spaces in many of our projects.

Gravity Walls

Our gravity retaining walls may be up to or greater than 4’ in height and use large native North Carolina or premium Tennessee boulders.

Garden Walls

Garden Walls: Our garden retaining walls are less than 4’ in height and use native North Carolina or premium Tennessee boulders.

Patios

Our flagstone projects are suitable for both pedestrian and vehicular traffic, depending upon your project requirements. We offer premium Tennessee flagstone for either application.
Here are examples of our patio projects:
If you are interested in having a wall or patio constructed at your residence, please use our Homeowner Hardscaping Calculator below to better understand the price associated with your project. All you need to do is to measure the length and height of your wall area, using foot and half-foot increments. For example, you may have dimensions of 40’ long and 3 ½’ high. If you are interested in having a flagstone patio constructed at your residence, please measure the length and width of your patio area, again using foot and half-foot measurements.

To use the calculator, simply select your preferred material option and enter the dimensions for your wall or patio. We include French drain costs in the per foot price for our retaining wall projects. Please note – excavation and grading are unique to each site and those service prices are separate from hardscaping. Additionally, engineering requirements for walls greater than 4’, support boulders and other drainage solutions which may be required for your wall or patio project are not included in the calculator price.
